Today after connecting and downloading transactions i received a msg that fidelity was changing their connection with quicken and a new connection needed to be updated. From this “core position”, cash stays in spaxx in your fidelity money market account, earning interest (similar to an fdic savings account) until it’s invested on the next stocks, etfs, mutual funds, or options trades. The new fidelity interface has totally screwed up my fidelity accounts

Fidelity investments has 2 different financial institution setups for downloading into quicken This is a new connection setup since dec 2023 and it uses the ewc+ connection method. In that fidelity seems to have synovus bank deposit sweep holdings so when you update fidelity it's changing the value in other accounts too If the value of the fund is incorrect, hopefully it will be fixed soon along with all of the other issues.
